MCM

Monik’s Creative Movement, known as MCM, was founded by teacher, artist, and community organizer Monik Jones. In Monik’s own words, “everything I do is driven by a passion for community.” Through MCM, Monik leads our community outreach programs creating Parents in the Room—a special support group dedicated to the incredible parents of Meadowlark Community Preschool & Infant Center.

Parents in the Room is designed to provide a safe, welcoming space for parents to connect, share their experiences, voice concerns, and find the resources they need to thrive on their parenting journey. Whether they’re navigating the challenges of being a new parent or simply looking for a community that understands and supports them, Parents in the Room has been created to help. We’ll be advocating for you every step of the way!

Growing Great

GrowingGreat’s mission is to empower children to make healthy food choices through hands-on science and garden education. The organization serves under-resourced, inner-city Los Angeles neighborhoods, with partners across the U.S. We are excited to partner with GrowingGreat to bring their incredible program to our school.
